Bingo, Vista accepted the driver and what's more it appeared as a connected device in Computer view. Flag Permalink This was helpful (0) Collapse - I looked for this model by R. I installed it directly from vista x64 on a new drive therefore i didn't have any drivers issues (or i'm really lucky ^^). But the Jukebox does not show up under Computer nor does it appear in CMS. Creative was able to avoid this by ‘back cataloging' any products it did not want to support with vista (for what ever reason).
So the moral of this story is if it isn't broke don't fix it. My Nomad Jukebox Zen NX now communicates with my Redchair software thanks to you. My view from an industry perspective is that, the driver compatibility for any product has a responsibility split of 25%/75%. It ran just fine on W7 and recognized my Jukebox right off.

by R. I am still a fan of creative hardware but quite dissapointed how they treated existing owners. So if you are a computer enthousiast with a good knowledge on how to install an OS, you should try it. So I had to use my old XP laptob for loading new music on my Nomad.
