I was trying to let a Linux helper know that I had the newest version/update of Mint 17. I removed snc-ca0106 from /etc/modules and it went away but modprobe --list still had it in the list so it still doesn't work ?? I believe there should be a master channel. I went through the tutorials and tried various suggestions but no luck. How should we contact developers in an attempt to get the card to be properly supported? The Microphone now works "By default" in the Lates Build of Dapper 2006-Mar-24 Creative Labs Sound Blaster MP3+ External USB Audio interface Yes Yes 5.04 (Hoary) 2005-Jun-14 Creative Labs Sound Blaster To test, I put in an Ubuntu Live CD and had the sound working perfectly on it, back to my install and no such luck.
It got everything working. and it is very frustrating because most of the time, I dont remember what I did the last time to fix this. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs-upstream-testing' text. Any help you can steer me to would be greatly appreciated.
