So, currently, you have no sound at all? Creative's X-Fi on Linux has been far from a pleasant experience, but today that may begin to change. Perhaps this isn't the best place to spread knowledge about your patch?? The device driver has been tested on the ix86 and DEC alpha CPU architectures only.
